Websites uncountable! Now there is innumerable number of websites raging the World Wide Web which makes it nearly impossible to keep count. Some people may say it is a sign of the world catching up on technological advancement, but the reality is quite the opposite. Till now, only a handful of the world’s populi get access to internet. There are regions in our nation India itself, where there is not even electricity, let alone internet.

Friends for life!
“Hey! Come here!” my bestie shouted at me. I stole the
clothes she was supposed to wear after having a bath and hid it under the couch
in the living room. She was running with a comb in her hand behind me all
around the room. We did not stop until we were extremely tired and started
sweating in the December cold. She was shouting at me for making her sweat
after her bath. After taking a shower yet again, I brought her the clothes…

Yoga Tablet - A dream come true!
“Can you tell me how to write this article on Godmen?”… A
junior asked me in facebook. I gave the instructions duly and returned to
blogging on my Tablet. After that came my employer’s call in Skype inquiring if
I was finished proof-reading the articles he asked for. I said I would mail him
the write-ups right then as I was already done with them. Then my PG mate came
to ask me what we would cook for dinner and if I had planned anything. I did a
quick search on easy to cook recipes in Google on my Tab and gave her two
options to choose from. After that, we got the ingredients and started cooking
by following the instructions right from the Internet. Oh, the tab was of such
help! If only it had a stand so that we can keep it like a paper on a paper
stand.

AAP+BJP or AAP+Congress?... The Big Question in Delhi Now
The election results of the country's capital was astounding to one and all in the nation. After 15 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) managed to sweep the polls, though not with majority. it was 4 counts behind to forming a Government of its own.
What matters is the trust people place in the candidates. The victorious party BJP indeed has citizens vouching for it. People in Delhi have placed their hopes in BJP, thinking the party would bring in the necessary 'winds of change' for their betterment. So why give up so easily?

To Study or Not
“No matter what they tell us

No matter where they take us

Man or Demon!
I am a big dog lover. I have the experience of growing up with five dogs around me during the early years of my childhood. What you are about to read has nothing to do with me liking dogs a lot. In fact, I am sure every humane person out there would be shocked to see what I saw today as I was walking along the road with one of my PG mates here at Satya Niketan in New Delhi.

Remembering Edmund Spenser...
For whatsoever from one place doth fall, Is with the tide unto an other brought: For there is nothing lost, that may be found, if sought.― Edmund Spenser, The Faerie Queene
Edmund Spenser’s poetic excellence needs no introduction. His style of writing motivates and entertains people even now. If poetry is to be valued by its power of lifting us into a world of dream and happiness, a world free from tyranny of reality, the Spenser’s poems are the solution. Indeed, Edmund Spenser has rightly been named the ‘poet’s poet’.

Nausea-free days... Finally!
Our school lies in the outskirts of our city in a beautiful countryside. Nestled among the green hills and supple fields is our school. The surroundings are mesmerizing. Every guest who happens to visit our school falls in love with the greenery and peace all around. Even Saina Nehwal spoke about the alluring mise en scène when she visited our school.

To Live OR Not to Live
If you accept the expectations of others, especially negative ones, then you never will change the outcome.- Michael Jordan
This is exactly what Arunachalam Murugananhtam did. He did not care about the bricks that others threw at him and moved forward.

The Journey of Motherhood | The Perfect Road Trip
For a mother, the best ‘Road Trip’ is the ‘Journey of Motherhood’. Here is an account from a Mother – her daughter’s journey from her womb into the world and, finally into adulthood and beyond:
The Journey That Was
I was a young mother of 22. I was carrying my first child and felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility. Finally, after 9 months, in the cold month of January 1994, she came into our life. My husband and I were proud parents of a healthy girl, Leena.

The dilemma of today's employed
One of our family friends, a middle-aged lady told us about one of her nephews working in an MNC in Mumbai.
She said, “Loratue bhal sakori etai pale MNC etat. Kintu Mumbai-t ghoror bhaara iman besi je tar khaboloie nujure besera. He biyau koraise, kintu poisar bor natoni. Tar maa-ke upai nepai tar Mumbai-r ghoror bhaara tu dibo lage. Ajikalir lora-suali oti durbhogiya.”
… This meant, “The guy got a good job in an MNC in Mumbai. But the rents there are so high that, his salary strains to cover the expenses. If he pays the rent, there is hardly enough left to eat. So his mother pays his rent. The present generation’s youngsters are very hapless.”

Voice of the Soul
On and on they flew, over the countryside parceled out in patches of green and brown, over roads and rivers winding through the landscapes like strips of matte and glossy ribbon.
... This is how J K Rowling, author of Harry Potter describes the art of painting.

On Thalassemia
Wikipedia says,
Thalassemia forms of inherited autosomal recessive blood disorders that originated in the Mediterranean region. In thalassemia, the disease is caused by the weakening and destruction of red blood cells. Thalassemia is caused by variant or missing genes that affect how the body makes hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. People with thalassemia make less hemoglobin and fewer circulating red blood cells than normal, which results in mild or severe anemia. Thalassemia can cause significant complications, including iron overload, bone deformities and cardiovascular illness.

The ancient woman
It has always been the woman who suffers. When a girl child
is born, it is the woman’s fault? When the food seems tasteless because of
someone else’s foul mood, it is the woman’s fault? When it comes to clothes,
women have restrictions. Women have bounds even in the work field. Even when it
comes down to the customs of society, it always keeps the woman at fault. The
taboos for women are ridiculous and biased. The customs tend to make women
completely ostensible.

Mystic Ambition
Ambition- the word is an individual character in itself. It is the utmost necessity in the world today. People run after it helter-skelter. Without it a child is considered useless.
True, ambition is necessary to be successful in life. It is the driving force towards success; the life force in short. But what does ‘Ambition’ actually mean? It is what one plans to be later in life; the goal to be someone special. It is a dangerous word now because, it is very misleading. The meaning should not be a short-term sense of fulfillment but, one which lasts a lifetime. It should be as such that a person should get inner satisfaction and peace in life.

Chili Chili Chicken Chicken
It is the hottest time of the summer season and also the time when all schools, colleges and universities break-up for summer holidays. My cousins and I were done with our exams and were finally meeting after a long time at my house. But this time we decided to experiment. We decided the eldest (four of us) would cook ourselves and party. It was an amazing experience. We all cooked our specialties; I made chili chicken. Now, call it fate or luck. My dish was the hot selling one! Everyone loved it… so it thought I must share this simple, nothing-so-special recipe with my readers.

Me and Mine
A crazy yet sensible girl, I am very passionate about writing. Of course it depends on the subject matter too but, writing is the second love of my life. My first and true love is the ‘angel’ in my life without whom I would have been a nobody. This ‘angel’ taught me to smile and live life. I owe my happiness to my heart, my ‘angel’!

The Modern Woman in the Antique Society
It is seen in the drama Halfway House that the modern contemporary woman is lost in the chaotic and demanding world. The main protagonist Savitri is tied between household responsibilities and her tasks as a working woman. She is in a constant search for identity and individuality. Then again there is Savitri’s elder daughter Binni, who’s in a state of mental confusion as to who she really is and where she belongs. This is nothing but the existentialist dilemma – the absurd search for meaning in one’s life.
