Amazing Seven!

Since childhood I have always dreamt of becoming someone famous; someone who never gives up on her dream and also works for the people. In that quest for perfection, I have followed many ideals, be it for beauty, motivation, courage or politics. I have listed some of those ideals below. It would be a dream come true for me if WeChat could connect me with those great personalities.

Subhash Chandra Bose:

Give me blood, I will give you freedom!

He is my favourite freedom fighter. In fact, apart from Bhagat Singh, the only sensible leader was Bose in my humble opinion. He did adopt violent methods but, not without reason. I am a big fan of his ideologies and philosophies. His oratory skills are simply wonderful.

If I get the chance to talk to him, I would probably ask him about his mysterious disappearance. There are many rumors surrounding the plane crash that was supposed to be his death bed. But, many sources say he went into hiding on purpose.

Marilyn Monroe:

Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.

What a beauty she is! I do not think any of the modern Hollywood actors can match up to her beauty. Since I was a child, her charm has spellbound me. She was an enigma. I wish I was beautiful like her.

I would love to ask her the secret of her beauty… of course her beauty is God’s gift. But she surely must have indulged in some methods in order to remain forever youthful and beautiful. I would also want to know about the mysterious circumstances in which she died- at the young age of 36!

Saina Nehwal:

The idol of the youngsters in India, Olympic Bronze medalist Saina Nehwal is an amazing sportsperson. Being a badminton player myself, I idolize her.

I would never miss the opportunity to chat with her and even though I might sound silly, I would like to know the small details of her life including her routine.

Amitav Ghosh:

One of my all time favorite writers, Amitav Ghosh has a superb writing style. Each of his novels are proofs to his expertise in literature. His knowledge about the things he writes about is also exemplary.

After reading the novel ‘The Shadow Lines’, I have become a bigger fan of Ghosh. I want to know why he chose a unique style of writing which makes every novel of his extremely absorbing.

Cleopatra:

She is one of the most powerful women of the ancient times. Her way of speaking added to her charm. Renowned as the most beautiful woman ever, many sources say her intellect was something to be reckoned with. With wit adding to her beauty, Cleopatra had negotiated with many rulers and generals including Caesar and Antony.

I would love to know about her life and her role as the last pharaoh of ancient Egypt.

Dr A P J Abdul Kalam:

You have to dream before your dreams can come true.

The ex-prez of India, the widely loved and respected Dr. Kalam, also known as the People's President, has always been a source of inspiration for me. His books ‘The Wings of Fire’ and ‘Ignited Minds’ have always motivated me to never give up on anything we love.

I would love to hear about his ordeals in life from his mouth. Maybe he would unlock some hidden potential in me that I never knew existed.

Barack Obama:

I'm so overexposed, I'm making Paris Hilton look like a recluse.

Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States, the first African American to hold office, a great orator and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, is another person who motivates me. After reading his autobiography ‘The Audacity of Hope’, I have come to the conclusion that it is possible to reach our ambition no matter how hard it is, provided we never give up and always have ‘hope’.

I would want to know more about Obama’s childhood days; the ordeals he faced and how he overcame those. His successful career is idealistic for everyone.
